Flu 2024 Nz. We're pleased to announce that we are widening access to influenza vaccine from 1 july 2022 for two new groups: People aged 6 months to under 65 years with eligible conditions*.

Children up to 12 years old and all maori and pasifika peopled aged 55 and 64 are no longer able to get a free vaccine. The flu vaccine is the best protection against the main flu viruses this winter, although there’s still a chance you might get the flu.
